I just wanted to say that if anyone is looking for a good sys admin Tom is it. He knows what he is doing, is quick to respond, and very affordable.
tom have been with us for quite a while now, months actually - and I can only give him my warmest recommendations.
Email to inquire about some possible jobs for him. He answered within the hour, andwers all my questions. Then answered all my stupid newbie questions. Gave me a quote that i considered to be the bargin of the day. The next day i ask him to call so we could speak on the phone...he called within the hour...answered more of newbie questions...explained everything about the whole process of what he was going to do for me...(recompile apache/php) Then completed the Job within a few hours.
I can vouch for him. Tom does work for me for the past few years. He seems to be available 24 hours a day. I don't think there has ever been anything he couldn't fix instantly or any time of day that he couldn't be reached. He has proven to be indispensible.

Tom is a good guy. He's one of the very exclusive group of people we let touch our servers.
Tom knows his stuff, and has worked with me for 12mths or so in a sysadmin capacity, managing our fleet of servers and tending to admin related tickets on the helpdesk. He's reliable as an Aussie sheep dog and won't flinch under pressure when push comes to shove.
